‘Morale Boosing!’

Fundraising & Grants Officer Abi Walker said: “The Tynemouth Summer Trail has been such a great example of how creative, dedicated and hard-working our volunteers are! Helen, one of our volunteer teachers, came up with the concept for the trail and used her community links to involve some fantastic local businesses.”

“Times have been really hard recently and we’re just so pleased to be involved with such a morale-boosting community initiative, as well as giving some of our favourite small businesses a boost. The money raised through this event will make a HUGE difference to the lives of vulnerable refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants here in Tyne and Wear. With everything in the news at the moment, what a fantastic way of showing our support for those seeking asylum in our community!”
