An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project support officer to work at Action Foundation. The charity was established in 2005 to assist asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants in Tyne and Wear. Since then, we have grown steadily and are looking to continue to build the team working to overcome homelessness, isolation, exclusion and poverty.
Until the end of 2022, you will help to deliver one-to-one client work in Newcastle and South Tyneside as part of the InterAction project, engaging those seeking asylum, refugees and migrants. Your involvement will help shape the service and allow us to continue to provide support, belonging and a safe space.
Essential information
Hours: 10 hours per week (flexible – to be discussed at interview).
Salary: £19,692-£21,315 per annum pro rata depending on experience + 6% pension contribution
Contract: Fixed term to Dec 31st 2022
