From Tuesday, 5th January England has been placed in a lockdown and people will have to stay at home and only go out for essential reasons. In order to keep everyone safe over the past 10 months, Action Foundation has already made significant changes to the way we deliver our support services to refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants.

However we’ve made a few further changes given the current restrictions, so we thought we’d clarify how each project is operating:

InterAction Drop-in

As of 11th January our twice-weekly drop-in will NOT be running, but we’ll continue to support clients on an appointment-only basis. Please contact the team on 07826 266 630. Please don’t come to Castle Gate unless you have an appointment and somebody is expecting you.

Accommodation Services

Accommodation services will continue to deliver support remotely but will conduct assessments and move-ons through face to face appointments.

Action Language

Action Language will continue to deliver remote provision. For more information please contact the team on 07518 460 198.

Digital Inclusion

Our Digital inclusion project is still running, for more info please email mailto:[email protected]

Volunteering

You can still register to volunteer at Action Foundation by using this link, however, we’re especially busy at the moment so don’t be worried if it takes a few weeks for us to process your application.

Donations

Please note the team will NOT be able to take donations of clothing/food at this time, but you can make financial donations here.

With this approach we aim to:

a) Minimise the number of staff in our offices and connecting with clients
b) Maintain support for our clients both face to face and remotely
c) Stay flexible and adaptable to any ongoing changes
