Tell us a bit about yourself

I have recently graduated from the University of York with a Master’s degree in Public History. I love to travel and explore new places. This summer, I worked at a summer camp as the Head of Crafts in Canada. I also studied abroad during my undergraduate degree in Russia. In my free time I love doing anything creative, from painting to creative writing. I also love fashion so you can always find me browsing in a thrift shop!

What’s your career background?

My undergraduate degree in History and Politics and my Master’s focused on histories of migration and marginalised groups. During my degree, I interned at the Rowntree Society, an educational charity in York, for almost three years. I was a Historical Research Assistant and a Digital Engagement Officer which eventually led to some freelance work!

What’s your new role?

My new role is Digital Fundraising Support Officer within the Business Development and Communications team.

What drew you to apply for a job at Action Foundation?

I have always wanted to pursue a career in social impact where I can make a difference to people’s lives, especially in my home city of Newcastle.
