What is ESOL for Employability? This course helps students prepare for applying for jobs and for working in the UK. Topics covered include: writing a CV and covering letter, interview practice, teamwork, communication skills and employment contracts.
What level English do I need to have? This course is for learners who have attained ESOL Entry 3 as we will be working at the following levels:
- Speaking, Listening and Reading – Level 1
- Writing – Level 1

How long is the course? Each course is 75 hours over 5 weeks (15 hours a week) The exact days and times will change for each course. We ask all students to maintain 90% attendance to ensure they do not fall behind.
When is the next course? Starting from 5th June to 5th July 2017 in Newcastle.
Who teaches the course? All classes will be taught by an experienced and qualified teacher. There will be a volunteer assistant available for additional support

Will I get a qualification after completing the course? Students have to complete work on various topics which goes into a portfolio. The portfolio work is checked by three people and if all is satisfactory then students receive a Level 1 certificate in Employability.

How old must I be? This course is for adults (18 and over)
